Thandiani

Another beautiful and very peaceful hill station in Abbottabad. The meaning of thandiani in the local language is “cold”. TCKP established the Eco-Friendly Tourism Camping Project with all the allied facilities by the name “Thandiani Camping Pods”. You can hike through the forest to witness some amazing wildlife. There's a forest rest house on the trail to spend your night. The weather of Thandiani remains pleasant throughout the summer and the temperature stays under 30 degrees celsius during the day. You need a blanket at night. Thandiani is 2700 meters above sea level on a small plateau surrounded by pine forests. This beautiful spot can easily be approached from Abbottabad, which is 24 km away. It is totally unspoiled and has the loveliest of views of all the nearby mountain ranges. The scenery here is breathtaking and superb.
