Barrister Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel (MINISTER TOURISM, CULTURE & INFORMATION)
Culture and tourism are the most important sectors in a country's economic and social development. Its growth and progress are top priorities for the present government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. I understand that tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has come a long way and is considered one of the main drivers of growth.

To harness the Cultural & Tourism aspects of KP, the Government is taking valuable initiatives to cater the needs of the province. The RICH Cultural Heritage is an asset of KP which needs dire attention and is given due importance. The great initiatives taken by the Department of Tourism are indeed praiseworthy. Such earnest efforts appear to be quite effective in transforming Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into one of the most sought-after destinations in Pakistan.

The past achievements of the department have already helped enhance the brand value of KP tourism. I hope that this department will continue to play the most warm and hospitable host to travelers from across the globe. The Culture & Arts of KP is known to the world which can be further strengthened by showcasing the best we have. KP as a destination also needs preservation and revamping as well as initiatives to serve in the protection and promotion of our RICH traditions, cultural values, and interests of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We will make sure to do the best in Promoting KP as a Brand.

Wishing you all the best.

The province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has so much to offer to tourists. Our rich and diverse culture and heritage have always been our unique characteristics. The countless tourism landscapes, the abundance of biodiversity, and the unique blend of cultural heritage, cuisine, arts, and crafts have made our province a must-visit destination.

In this regard, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) has continued its struggle to push the tourism and culture sector to greater heights. The KPCTA has explored new tourist destinations in every nook and corner of the province. We have also developed the already-existing spots as well as new ones along modern lines and ensured the provision of all the required facilities to the visitors.

The KPCTA has introduced some revolutionary and eco-friendly initiatives in the province, such as Camping Pods at the fascinating hill stations of the province. In order to harness the energy and skills of the youth, the KPCTA has introduced numerous youth-oriented activities like adventure sports awareness campaigns. In today's fast-changing business environment, it has become progressively more competitive to chart a path for the future. For this reason, the KPCTA is constantly looking for innovative ways to diversify the tourism industry in the province.

Best wishes and prayers.
