Takht-e-Sulaiman (Solomon’s Peak)

The Solomon’s Peak is a region of unimaginable beauty. It is the highest peak of the Sulaiman Mountain Range, located east of Dera Ismail Khan, overlooking the plains of the great Indus River. The Solomon’s Peak rises to a height of 3382 meters above the sea level. The Solomon’s Peak is an area of splendid natural beauty, boasting spectacular mountains, which offer endless opportunities of trekking and climbing. Summer is the ideal time for undertaking a trip to the peak. It is the time when one can enjoy the lush green hills, refreshing air and the amazing beauty of the Indus River plains. The heavy snowfall in winters also makes it a perfect place to visit for the adventure seekers and snow lovers. It can be accessed via a small town named Draban Kalan, situated 40 miles west of Dera Ismail Khan. In Draban Kalan, public transport is also available for the base of the Solomon’s Peak.
